Free Disney Fun: Club Cool.

Without a doubt, one of my kiddos' favorite spots in all of Epcot is Club Cool, a refreshment station/gift shop sponsored by Coca-Cola and located right in the heart of Future World inside the gates of Epcot.  While I'm not sure I'd list the attraction as one of my very favorites, my husband & I don't mind swinging by Club Cool, either, because honestly..."If it's free, it's for me!"

It's no secret that Disney World isn't the cheapest place to vacation (although I promise I'll help you find the best deal possible!), so when you stumble upon something that is both FUN and FREE, it's a most definitely a win!

Club Cool serves a wide variety of Coca-Cola products from around the world.  For free.  Guests can grab small cups and sample as many (and as much!) of the drinks as they desire.  Each of my children has discovered a favorite, but beware: some of the choices are downright disgusting!

That's part of the fun, though, for our family.  We enjoy daring one another to try different selections and laughing together as we work to find the "grossest" flavor possible.  As mentioned, however, my kids have each found something they love as well, so we'll often stop by the store for a cool, refreshing drink whenever we pass by!

If you're looking for a neat, outside-the-box experience and don't mind going out on a limb with your taste buds, be sure to swing by Club Cool during your next visit to Epcot.  It's such a great way to add a little extra fun to your day--at no additional cost! :)

Garden Grill.

It's no secret that our family likes to eat.  In fact, when planning our personal trips, we quite often create our daily schedules around dining reservations, simply because we enjoy the experiences so much!

Over the years, one of our very favorite character dining experiences has become Chip & Dale's Harvest Feast at Garden Grill. Garden Grill is located inside Epcot, which means guests wishing to dine here will not only need a reservation, but also valid park admission.  Located within The Land pavilion, along with popular rides such as Soarin' and Living with the Land, Garden Grill is a great place to grab a super filling breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Guests dining at Garden Grill have the opportunity to meet Pluto, "Farmer" Mickey, and Chip & Dale and also get to experience some of the most interactive costumed characters on all of Disney property. Chip & Dale are silly and playful and encourage Mickey, Pluto, and guests to join in their fun!

Garden Grill is also unique due to the fact that the entire restaurant actually rotates.  Albeit slowly, the tables move in a circle, providing birds-eye views of the Living with the Land attraction down below. The circular shape of the restaurant provides a unique table layout as well, often making it feel as if the only family in the restaurant is yours!

At all three meal times, the food is served family-style, meaning that large, all-you-can eat platters are brought to the table.  Breakfast includes favorites such as sausage, bacon, eggs, and Mickey waffles, while lunch and dinner feature carved turkey breast, Italian sausage with peppers & onions, pot roast, macaroni & cheese, and garden fresh vegetables (grown at Epcot!)...not to mention homemade shortcake for dessert!

A meal, on average, is around $42/adult (ages 10+) and $25/child (ages 3-9), or one (1) table service credit per person on the Disney dining plan.

As always, be sure to let me know how I can help create a Disney trip designed just for your family!

New in 2017: Expanded Dates for Epcot's Food & Wine Festival.

It's no secret that one of the best parts about a Disney vacation in the fall can best be summed up in two simple words: "free dining."  And while I am very hopeful that we'll see a fall free dining promotion roll out this spring (maybe even as soon as March!), I'm equally as excited about an announcement that has already been released:

Epcot's Food & Wine Festival will be running for unprecedented 75 days this year, from August 31-November 13. The expansion of this super fun festival will mean more celebrity chefs, more Eat to the Beat concerts, more global culinary creations (many of which can be purchased using snack credits!) and more fantastic drinks!

The Food & Wine Festival is one of our family's favorite times to visit this particular park and, with the additional snack credit that has been added to the dining plan this year, I can't wait to try more new, delicious, and exciting food than ever before!

As always, feel free to email me at heather@mmadventures.net.  I'd love to answer your questions and/or help your family plan an incredible Disney vacation!!

New in 2017: Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Epcot has always been one of my favorite parks.  My husband and I have such fun visiting Epcot with our children (all four of them LOVE the park as well) but have also had quite a good time visiting on our own or with a group of adult friends, too.

Just this past weekend, Epcot introduced a brand new park experience: an International Festival of the Arts, which will run Fridays-Mondays from January 13-February 20 and includes artist demonstrations, concerts, gourmet food, and stage productions.  If you've been thinking about visiting Epcot, it's a great time to do so!

Chalk artists, painters, and living statues will be found throughout the park. Hands-on workshops and complimentary seminars will teach guests techniques such as cake drawing, animation, and calligraphy.  The Disney on Broadway Concert Series will bring stars from Broadway's Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Frozen (just to name a few!) to perform at Epcot's America Gardens Theatre.  Kiosks will sell special art-inspired snacks and drinks throughout the World Showcase and Future World.

When combined with the fantastic central Florida weather and Epcot's permanent shows and attractions, the International Festival of the Arts is sure to be a hit and will hopefully appear as an annual event in years to come.

If you'd like to know more about Epcot's International Festival of the Arts (or any of the other festivals held at Epcot throughout the year), have any Disney-related questions, or would like to consider planning a trip of your own, please don't hesitate to contact me at heather@mmadventures.net.  I'd love to help any way I can!
